The DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal will be unavailable from Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 pm ET until Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 pm ET. First Grade

Art Supplies

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to a new school year at AES. I am Ms. Ginger Miller, and I am excited to be a part of your students’ education this year. To help students have the best experiences and outcomes in the art studio I am providing a list of materials needed for class. Please send these supplies to school in a sturdy bag labeled with your child's name and class number written in permanent marker.

Only Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade will leave supplies in the art studio.

Kindergarten:

  • 3 black fine point permanent markers (Sharpie brand preferred)
  • A box of crayons (16 or 24)
  • 5 pencils

 

1st- 5th grade:

  • Sketchbook with a spiral binding and no lines
  • Regular pencils (at least 5)
  • Crayons (16 or more colors)
  • Eraser (Paper Mate Pink Pearl brand preferred)
  • Colored Pencils
  • Washable Markers
  •  2 black permanent markers (Sharpie brand preferred)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Sturdy bag that fits all supplies. The bag should zip, have a draw string, or Velcro closure
